MinistriesElder Lewis Young heard from God; It all began from his accepted call to the Leadership of Pastor in 2002.
After sharing God’s vision with his Spiritual covering, the honorable Bishop Jerome S. Wilcox, Elder Young had many sessions and conversations with his leader. These discussions geared him to be assured in his confidence that God was truly leading him into the Pastoral call. Elder Young launched out into the call that was on his life to Pastor in 2002. The launch of his first work, “Living for Christ Family Resurrection Ministries” was birthed. Under this ministry, Elder Young was elevated to the call of Apostle.
However, after a period of ups, downs and disappointments, the ministry was resolved. Apostle Young continued to pastor and give covering to many souls. During his brief absence from a physical structural worship foundation, he focused on God’s direction and evangelized throughout the United States and abroad. As God used him in his evangelical works, he still was finding opportunities to fulfill the call of Pastor along the way.
Apostle Lewis Young, Sr., is a native of Trenton, NJ. He began preaching at an early age (13). His life was spoken through prophetic word that he would be a mighty man of God. Born January 7, 1967 to his parents, (the late) Evangelist Guy L. and Missionary Jestine Young, he is the 5th child of seven children.
Apostle Young was birthed from a linage of great preachers. His father, prior to his death, was an Overseer of God’s church, an anointed Evangelist, who traveled the tri-states as a preacher, healer, deliverer of many. His father’s greatest gift was the ability to cast out demons as being directed by the Holy Spirit. In addition, was his grandfather, (the late) Bishop Joseph G. Sykes who founded the Spotlight Holy Temple of Trenton, NJ.
Apostle Young developed his love for pray and dedicational devotion by watching and listening to his mother, Mother Jestine Young, pray and cry out to God. From a young age, he sought after the ability to be used mightily by God. With the mantle that was destined over his life, he continues to work under the linage of the Five-Fold Ministries, instituted by his forefathers, with a profound emphasis on the Deliverance Ministry.
Ministries
In 2020, God gave the Apostle a vision to start a Men’s Ministry group through social media. The ministry was called, “The Apostle’s Room”. The ministry reached hundreds of men and was utilized to help develop their spiritual walk with God. Many topics and discussions where birthed on this platform and such topics where the governing factors that helped in changing the spiritual walks of many Men of God on all levels.
Then, in October 2021, God redirected Apostle Young with a vision of a higher calling. After sitting down with his wife and spiritual partner, Lady Toya Young, he shared the vision as illustrated by God. The vision was the birth of a new ministry that launched into a weekly fellowship service that was originally organized as an outlet for Men of all spiritual calibers to come together and pray. However, God saw something different. The weekly prayer sessions turned into a weekly revival meeting held at the Living Word Ministries on Indiana Avenue in Trenton, NJ. During these weekly revival meetings, many miraculous signs and wonders took place; prophetic words were spoken and God used Apostle Young mightily in the prophetic call.
After much prayer and consultation, on the first Sunday of February, 2022, The Levites House, HQ was born. The launch was successfully established and we were given a new home at our current location of 221 Homan Avenue (The Annex), in Trenton, NJ. Our first members were Apostle Young and his wife Lady Toya Young, His Mother – Mother Jestine Young, Deacon Sidney Johnson and Prophet Jarrod Broach. God has since blessed the church to welcome many other members; some have moved on to other endeavors and with each departure, God has blessed to replace them with willing workers who strive to help in the building of God’s kingdom. God said, “Many will come and go under this ministry; but be not dismayed as I will be with you, always.”
God has continued to show us His divine favor; we may be few in number – now, but we are mighty in the bringing down of strongholds!
God continues to show us that He is with us every week by the, “Miracles, Signs and Wonders” that we are witnessing. “TO GOD WE GIVE ALL THE GLORY FOR THE GREAT THINGS HE IS DOING IN OUR MIDST.”

The Levites House is a body of Believers that contends for the faith that was once delivered unto the saints. At the core of our ministry, it is our mandate to make disciples of all mankind and to prepare them for the coming of Our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.
